What's Included When You Collect an Original This Month

Collecting an original painting and print online can feel like a bigger decision than it needs to be. You cannot hold the canvas before you buy it, so the questions that matter are practical ones. How will it arrive. What are the framing options. What happens if something goes wrong in transit. This guide answers all of it plainly, so the only decision left is which piece is yours.

Framing options

Every original and limited edition prints are available two ways.

Unframed, rolled canvas. The painting is carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube. This is the lightest and most affordable way to collect an original, and it suits collectors who already have a framer they trust, or who want to choose a frame that matches an existing room.

Cloudbound sage, Limited Edition Canvas Art Print shown as an unframed rolled canvas ready for local framing.

Framed in your choice of Australian oak, black, white or gold. The painting is stretched and set in a solid frame, finished to sit flush with the canvas edge so the frame reads as part of the work rather than something added on top. This is the option most collectors choose when they want to unwrap the piece and hang it the same week.

The Shape of Quiet, Limited Edition Canvas Art Print showing a woman with clouds over her eyes in a natural oak frame.

Both options are available on every original's product page, with pricing for each shown before you check out. Neither option changes the price of the artwork itself, only the finishing.

If you are unsure which to choose, a good rule of thumb is this. Choose framed if you want the piece ready to hang the day it arrives, no trip to a framer, no waiting. Choose unframed if you already know the frame you want, or if you are collecting for a space where the frame needs to match existing furniture or hardware exactly. Either way, the canvas itself is identical. You are only choosing how it arrives.

Shipping and packing care

.

Original paintings and limited edition prints are packed by hand, not by a courier warehouse. Framed works are wrapped in acid-free tissue, cushioned with corner protection, and boxed in double-walled cardboard sized to the piece rather than a generic box with excess space for the painting to move around in. Rolled canvases go into a rigid tube with sealed end caps, padded so the canvas cannot shift or crease during transit.

Every order ships with tracking, and you will receive that tracking number by email as soon as your piece leaves the studio. Within Australia, most originals arrive within five to ten business days depending on your location. If you are further from a metro area, it may take a little longer, and I would rather tell you that now than have you wondering.

In the unlikely event a piece arrives with any damage, photograph it as soon as you open the box and message me directly. I will always sort a replacement, repair, or refund. This has been rare, but it matters to me that you know the plan exists before you need it.

International shipping is available on request. Timeframes and costs vary by destination, so message me before you check out and I will confirm both for you.

This month's gift

Any original painting or print over $1000 in purchase value collected this month comes with a complimentary Luminous Echo fine art print, 50 x 75cm, at no extra cost. No code needed, it is simply applied automatically at checkout to any original from the site, not one painting or one collection in particular. Think of it as a second piece to start building your wall with, or something to gift, from the moment your original arrives.

Availability

Every original is one of one. Once a painting is collected, it will not be reprinted or repainted in that exact form. If a piece you love is still listed as available, it is genuinely still here waiting for you, and if it sells while you are deciding, I will always let you know if I am planning something in a similar palette or mood down the track. Limited edition prints remain available after an original sells, so there is still a way to live with a piece even once the one-of-one version is collected.

Any questions

If something here has not answered what you are wondering, the simplest thing is to contact me directly. I read every message myself, and I would always rather answer a question honestly before you collect a piece than have you second guess it after.
